Weekend Assignment #66 -- July 4 Haiku

Weekend Assignment #66: July 4 Haiku! A 17-syllable holiday poem, please!

Fireworks are booming,

The glorious fourth is here

Love the sights and sounds.

Oh, resplendent fourth!

We celebrate our freedom

With bursting fireworks.

Can you tell I love Fireworks?

A Happy and Wonderful 4th of July to one and all.

I'm with you.  I am one of those "oooh!  Aaaah!" folks at the fireworks shows.  I'll never get too old to be enchanted by them.  Lisa  :-]

I agree; fireworks are the best part of the 4th. Great haiku.

Excellent Haiku. You wrote two and it took me over two hours to cobble together one. Well it was my first ever Haiku. Your first line of the second Haiku was very powerful. Happy 4th of July.

Here's mine attempt, please come on over and check it out sometime. Thanks
